TISA is a not-for-profit trade association and has a growing membership of firms from many different sectors of the financial services industry, including banks, building societies, stockbrokers, fund managers, life offices, distributors, friendly societies, third party administrators, consultants, software providers, financial advisers and many others. This broad church enables the association to gather together many differing perspectives and also provides delegates from member firms with rare and valuable networking opportunities.
There are a number of features of membership, including:
- Collective representation: Ongoing consultation with HM Government, HMT, HMRC, statutory regulatory bodies and other relevant authorities providing active promotion and representation of members' interests
- Advisory Councils: A range of councils (on investment savings, cash savings, children’s savings, retirement planning, wraps and distribution) which exist to serve the needs of senior figures from the industry, providing meeting points where topical issues can be debated in confidence and responses formulated on behalf of TISA to, amongst other things, regulatory consultations. They inform, and participate in, engagement with HM Government, civil servants, interest groups and the FSA
- Website: Access to Members Only area providing specific technical documentation, minutes of Advisory Council meetings and member contact point
- Regulatory interpretation: Access to specific regulatory guidance via phone/e-mail on how legislative or technical amendments will affect specific members' interests or procedures
- Reduced cost: Attendance at any of our events attracts a lower fee than for delegates from non-member firms
- Reduced fees at London Capital Club: TISA members can join for £180 until 31 December 2010 (significant reduction of £320). Click here for a month's complimentary membership (exclusive to TISA members) and more information.
