About this online workshop
Authorised ISA managers are required to send HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) several ISA returns each year. Most of these returns are annual returns but there is also an interim return that some managers may also complete on a monthly basis or when required. There have been some recent changes to a number of these returns which has generated a significant number of queries from the industry. It is important that all these returns are completed correctly and on time as failure to do so can result in financial consequences.
This workshop will guide delegates through all the ISA returns and clarify all the key components that need to be included as well as highlight the recent changes that the government has made to the returns. The workshop will be useful for any individuals who are actively involved in the completion of the ISA returns or those who may have an oversight role in their completion.
This session will be delivered by Dave Beaston. Dave has been with TISA for almost 16 years and in that time has delivered most of TISA’s ISA workshops across the UK, running both public workshops and bespoke in-house workshops for firms operating in the ISA industry. He often works closely with HM Revenue & Customs when helping member firms interpret the ISA regulations and guidance and is responsible for ISA queries received by TISA member firms. Prior to TISA, Dave had seven years of experience within the financial services industry, having worked previously in both sales and compliance.
The workshop will address the following:
