Operational Resilience Briefing

Salina Ladha leads the operational resilience capability at Baringa Partners LLP. She has worked with a range of financial services clients to review, design and implement their operational resilience frameworks, in response to the changing regulatory requirements in this area. She has also worked closely with industry associations, including as part of the Business Services working group under the Investment Association’s Operational Resilience Committee, and in her current role as deputy chair of the TISA operational resilience working group. Prior to consulting, Salina worked as a bank supervisor at the Prudential Regulation Authority, where she reviewed firms governance, risk and control frameworks. She also worked at both the Bank of England and HM Treasury on financial stability issues, including recovery and resolution planning and business continuity, and was involved in designing and participating in UK authority led market-wide exercises to test the financial sector’s response to industry-wide disruption.

Dan has spent the last 7 years of his career working across Corporate Banking, spending the first 4 years in industry, with a strong focus on Digital Transformation. Since joining Baringa in 2019, Dan has continued to work with a range of Global Corporate Banks across Client Onboarding, Climate Risk and Payments. Of late, Dan has led a range of Operational Resilience engagements for Global Corporate banks with a focus on ensuring banks complied with SS1/21 & PS21/3 and embedding operational resilience, with a focus on Scenario testing. Dan is currently enrolled at the London Institute of Banking, completing qualifications across Strategic Management & Innovation, Alternative Data in Lending and Payments.
