Alex Roy
Head of Consumer Distribution Policy, Financial Conduct Authority
Alex set up the new Consumer Distribution Policy Department in the FCA in October 2018 and is responsible for policy development across Banking, Payments, General Insurance and Retail Distribution. Particular challenges include the successful implementation of Strong Customer Authentication, increasing innovation in Payments and the desire to help facilitate Open Finance in the UK. He joined the FCA in 2014 and has been working in variety of policy and strategy roles including leading the team developing the FCA’s Mission. Alex started working life as an economist before moving to a policy focus at the Association of British Insurers where he led their work on the Retail Distribution Review.
Harry Weber-Brown
Digital Innovation Director, TISA
Harry Weber-Brown is the Digital Innovation Director for TISA who is responsible for all of TISA’s digital initiatives and projects, including the Digital Identity programme for consumers of financial services products and the Open Savings and Investment project. Harry has over 25 years of experience working in digital in strategic planning and programme management resulting in the delivery of transformational services within complex stakeholder environments. He has worked as a senior consultant, an interim Director and as a Non-Executive Director. Significant projects that Harry has managed include a European Commission funded project that focused on opening bank accounts across European borders, using Digital Identity, delivered through the eIDAS framework and a major re-development of the Money Advice Service’s digital proposition. Harry has worked across a range of sectors and clients including the Public Sector (Cabinet Office, Department of Health, Home Office and DWP), the Commercial sector (Old Mutual, Lloyds Banking Group, Reuters and Ask Jeeves) and the Not-for-Profit sector (NSPCC, Shelter and the BBC) before joining TISA in July 2018. He has more recently has been actively investing and mentoring digital start-ups with a focus on Advertising Tech and Digital Marketing services.
Siobhán Dennehy
Head of Economic Regulation, Consumer and Competition Policy, BEIS
Siobhan leads the Smart Data project at BEIS. Her team recently announced plans for legislation to support the expansion of Smart Data, and runs the Smart Data working group that brings together government and regulators from banking, finance, telecoms, energy and pensions. Her previous roles have been at the Competition and Markets Authority, Ofcom, social research consultancy and in local and central government.

Gareth Johnson

Joining the business in 2002, Gareth is now responsible for our Digital Channels and Investment Solutions. Gareth led the introduction and expansion of our Managed Portfolio Services (MPS), which has grown to in excess of £4bn, the introduction and expansion of the Brewin Portfolio Service, our first digital offering and oversaw the launched of the Group’s MI Select Manager funds in 2018.
Working closely with the Executive Committee of the Board, Gareth’s role is to strategically influence the Group and the service offerings using digital technologies. A frequent speaker at conferences, Gareth’s passion is for technology that can solution real client challenges.
Gareth sits on TISA’s Digital Innovation Council and is an Advisory Panel member for the Investment’s Associations FinTech Accelerator, Engine. Gareth’s spare time is limited since having a son in 2016. However, what little time he does have is spent enjoying football, NBA basketball, reading and listening to podcasts.

Gavin Littlejohn serves as Chairman of the Financial Data and Technology Association www.fdata.global, the Global Open Banking Trade Association, where he successfully led the campaign to have account aggregation added to PSD2 in 2013. Through FDATA he is a leader of the Open Banking Movement and campaigns for common technical standards and a consistent liability models across the Globe. Gavin was appointed as Convenor of the Fintech Stakeholder Group of the UK Open Banking Implementation Entity in 2016 and is now working with a number of other markets engaged on the same mission. Gavin is a fintech entrepreneur with experience of developing innovative solutions to mass market problems and is well-renowned as the Founder of Money Dashboard and acted as its CEO until 2015.
Nick Mothershaw
Programme Manager, TISA Digital ID Project
Nick is Chair and Chief Executive director of the Open Identity Exchange, a member’s organisation whose goal is to make it easier for consumers, organisations and things to trust each other when interacting online. Nick is also programme manager and consultant to the TISA Digital ID Project, which is creating a trust scheme to allow financial services firms use a Digital ID as proof of ID for Know Your Customer purposes. Nick was previously Director of ID and Fraud solutions at Experian where he was responsible for the strategic development of Experian’s fraud and identity solutions for both the public and private sectors. Nick led Experian’s development, launch and operation of a full “Identity as a Service solution”, which included ID proofing to a defined Level of Assurance and strong credential management. Experian leverages this platform as an identity provider within the GOV.UK Verify scheme and also for its own customers; making this the first live example of a Digital ID that is seamlessly interoperable across public and private sector in the UK.
Richard Partridge

Richard Partridge is Head of Strategic Growth Initiatives for Fidelity International and responsible for a number of elements of the company’s growth strategy for its Global Personal Investing and Advisory business.
Richard joined Fidelity in August 2008 and has held a number of roles in the Workplace and Personal Financial Health and Investment Solutions and Services businesses.
As Head of Global Digital Wealth Richard was responsible for the company’s digital wealth management strategy including the launch of new services in Germany, the UK and Japan. As Head of Business Change, Richard was responsible for the delivery of change across Fidelity’s UK Financial Services business, including key strategic change programmes, regulatory change, product development, customer experience and risk and remediation. Richard was Accountable Executive for the re-platforming and digital transformation of Fidelity’s UK Personal Investing and FundsNetwork businesses, including the migration of over 800,000 customer accounts to a new investment platform Bravura Sonata, the launch of stockbroking and cash management services, new websites, customer experience enhancements and operational efficiency improvements.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Richard was Head of Operational Change at Aviva Investors (formerly Morley Fund Management). He has also held consultancy and programme management roles for KPMG and the Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
Richard received a BSc (Joint Hons) in International Management and Modern Languages from the University of Bath. He is a qualified Prince2 Practitioner and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Jim Purves

Jim has been working in Identity management since 2004 when he was head of products for the Government Gateway. He was then by head of Identity Solutions at Experian followed by several years working with alternative data at VisualNDA to enable identity and credit risk decisioning for thin file customers. He has consulted to the Government Digital Service for GOV.UK Verify identity scheme and now leads the market engagement activity for Post Office Identity Services.
Faith Reynolds

Faith works in an advisory capacity across a range of fintech and Smart Data initiatives. Faith is an advisor to the TISA board and supports their work on OSIP. Faith is the independent Consumer Representative at the Open Banking Implementation Entity. She is co-chair of the Membership Advisory Group for Open Energy at Icebreaker One and also advises at the Global Open Finance Centre of Excellence. She recently co-authored reports for BEIS on consent and liability for Smart Data. Faith is a member of the FCA’s Open Finance Advisory Group and served almost 9 years on the FCA’s Financial Services Consumer Panel. Prior to leading Moneyhub, Sam worked for global advisory firms and innovative financial forecasting businesses. Sam is passionate about the power of technology to help consumers achieve better financial outcomes and is a non-executive director at the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) Bank, on the Digital Advisory Panel at Newbury Building Society and on the advisory board of The Big Exchange. She is a founding member of Open51, the organisation that promotes the role of women developing open finance and the new data economy, and is one of the ten industry representatives in the steering group on the Money & Pensions Service’s Pensions Dashboards Programme.

Before joining HSBC , Jane was Finance Director for one of UK Government’s major projects which delivered HMRC’s exit from Europe’s largest technology contract. Jane is an accountant by training and has held various senior positions within Finance, M&A and Transformation in the Technology industry for organizations such as BT, Vodafone, and O2.
