TISA - Tax Incentivised Savings Association - Councils

Policy Councils Overview

TISA currently operates various Policy Councils which consist of senior figures from our member firms. These Councils provide a forum where topical issues can be debated in confidence, responses can be formulated to regulatory consultations and project work can be discussed and agreed. The councils seek to inform, and participate in, engagement with HM Government, civil servants, interest groups and the FCA. The current councils are -

Cash & Investment Savings Policy Council

Consumer Engagement Policy Council

Digital Innovation Policy Council

Retirement Policy Council

Each of the councils has developed a policy manifesto which set out the proactive range of policy developments in key areas of the market currently undergoing major changes and corresponding initiatives identified by the policy councils as being of paramount importance in terms of engaging with the industry, regulator and government to drive forward necessary change. These aim to clarify the scope covered by each policy council, their areas of focus over the short-term and reinforce the relationship, and purpose, between the councils and their corresponding technical committees and working groups. The policy manifesto summary documents are available on the individual council pages.
TISA members may apply to join the relevant TISA policy councils. Each council has a Chair and Deputy Chair and meets formally on a quarterly basis. Where it is appropriate the councils can elect to establish a working group to deal with specific issues. Each of these forums will continue to have oversight from a senior TISA Executive, an industry chair and secretariat services supplied by TISA.

If your firm is not already represented on any of these groups, you may like to consider how you can participate.  If you would like to join a policy council, or would like any further information, please contact us.
