1.1 Payment is due in full before the date of the event or training.
1.2 Admittance may be refused if payment has not been received, or we may take payment card details to make or ensure payment.
2.1 From time to time, it may be necessary to amend event agendas/programmes, speakers/trainers, location, venue, timing or date/s, or to cancel altogether.
2.2 In cases of cancellation, we will endeavour to advise attendees as soon as possible in writing via the email address provided at time of booking and offer a full refund.
2.3 In cases as of changes to city or date, we will endeavour to advise attendees as soon as possible in writing via the email address provided at time of booking and automatically transfer existing bookings to the new date/s or location, however if preferred we will offer a full refund upon request.
2.4 In cases of changes to venue within the same city or changes to timings, we will endeavour to advise attendees as soon as possible in writing via the email address provided at time of booking and the other terms of the booking remain unaffected.
2.5 In cases of any other changes, the appropriate event/workshop webpage on the TISA website will be updated if we are made aware of the change before the day of the event, however attendees will not receive notification of such changes.
2.6 TISA reserves the right to refuse any bookings received for any reason, in which case attendees will be notified as soon as possible in writing via the email address provided at time of booking and offer a full refund.
2.7 Any attendees deemed to be behaving inappropriately may be asked to leave, in which case a refund or replacement will not apply.
2.8 Reimbursement of travel, accommodation or any other costs will not be offered in any of the above cases.
3.1 Any cancellations received in writing to events@tisa.uk.com more than 4 weeks in advance will receive a full refund.
3.2 Refunds will not be made for any cancellations less than 4 weeks before the date of the event or workshop, or in the case of no-shows on the day.
3.3 With the exception of invitation-only events, we will happily accept transfers of bookings to a nominated representative of the same organisation without further charge, if notified in advance by the booker or attendee in writing in advance of the day of the event via events@tisa.uk.com.
4.1 All bookings are subject to our privacy policy, details of which can be seen here
4.2 TISA events or workshops may be photographed or filmed and by attending you consent for your image to be used in future TISA materials; either printed or online.
4.3 Unless events are published as being held under Chatham House rules, attendees or speakers may be quoted or mentioned by the press, on social media or in future TISA printed or online materials.
5.1 We will endeavour to cater for any special dietary requirements provided at the time of booking by passing these to the venue. However we cannot guarantee that venues will always be able to cater for these.
5.2 As we do not provide the catering directly, we cannot take responsibility for allergies or any other issues relating to the food – if you have any issues or concerns, we encourage you to contact us at events@tisa.uk.com before making your booking.
6.1 No responsibility can be accepted, by the author or TISA, for loss occasioned to any person acting or refraining from action as a result of material or information provided at our events or workshops.
6.2 Any attendee fee does not necessarily include access to the materials provided, which are provided to attendees only if the author agrees.
6.3 Under no circumstances should materials from TISA workshops or events be circulated more widely in the industry or to the public without the express written permission of TISA.
