As set out in the government’s Financial Inclusion Strategy, the National Coalition for Workplace Savings has been established to increase the number of UK working age adults who have emergency savings, in order to help them become more financially resilient.
Over the coming years, the Coalition will encourage more employers to implement and increase participation in workplace savings schemes and will continue to engage with savings providers who are innovating to achieve greater impact.
Chaired by the Co-op, the Steering Group is responsible for guiding the Coalition’s work.
The Coalition is convened by MaPS, Centre for Inclusive Money at Nest and TISA.
