TISA members can join various groups to debate key industry issues. Split between Strategic and Technical Policy development, our groups aim to deliver practical solutions for our members and create innovative, evidence-based strategic proposals that address major consumer issues.
Our groups reflect TISA’s broad scope of interests and focus on meeting the needs of consumers, members and our industry. Key outputs from our groups can include finding solutions to operational/infrastructure problems and developing standards of good practice on the interpretation and implementation of new regulation.
Participation in TISA groups provides a conduit for firms to have their say on the policy we develop and present, contribute to our technical and regulatory interpretation work and, importantly, gain insights from other TISA members, policy makers, government and regulators.
Our groups range between our Strategic Policy Committees, tasked with debating and developing policy to address long-term considerations for consumers and the financial services industry; our Technical and Executive Committees, set up to consider and find resolutions to technical and operational issues; and special projects established to deliver effective solutions to critical industry problems.
If your firm is not already represented on any of these groups, you may like to consider how you can participate. Although the majority of groups are exclusively available to members only, Executive Committees are open to non-members and on occasion non-members are permitted to participate in specific groups. If you would like to join a group, or would like any further information, please contact us at engagement@tisa.uk.com
