BARCLAYS BANK PLC 1512 FTSE Def Autocall – XS2648297120 -BNV0946
Like you, I can’t find anything on this stock, albeit it’s clearly a security.
This appears to be some kind of structured product, issued as a type of ‘senior unsecured debt’ which for ISA purposes is treated as a type of ‘security’. The current ISA regulations state that for a security to be ISA qualifying it must pass the listing test. In summary, either the security itself of the shares in the issuing company need to be either listed on a recognised stock exchange or admitted to trading on a recognised stock exchange in the European Economic Area (EEA) including the UK.
In this case, if the issuing company is Barclays Bank, whose shares are listed on a recognised stock exchange, the product will be ISA qualifying on that basis. It doesn’t actually matter if the product itself is not listed/traded on a recognised stock exchange.
