The Notes are expected to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s regulated market as soon as practicable after the Issue Date and to be listed on the Official List of the London Stock Exchange.
The issue date is scheduled to fall on 3 January 2024, so will be ISA qualifying after this date (pending official listing on LSE).
That being the case if the notes are admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange, they will qualify for ISA Inclusion.
In most cases, the ISA qualifying securities rules mean that either the security itself or the shares in the issuing company need to meet the ISA listing rules, there is a third possibility, where a security is issued by a company which is a subsidiary (at least 75%) of a parent company and the shares in the parent company are ISA qualifying.
So, in this case, if the issuing company (Credit Agricole SA) is at least a 75% subsidiary these structured products will be ISA qualifying. I don’t think in this case its important, reason being the security is being admitted to trading on the LSE on or around the 3 January 2024 according to the prospectus on this structured product (security for ISA purposes).
