TISA Celebrates Shortlisting for Industry Association of the Year

November 19, 2024

The Investing and Saving Alliance (TISA) is proud to have been shortlisted for the Industry Association of the Year award, recognising its pivotal work in advancing financial inclusion and education across the UK.

While we did not take home the award this year, being named a finalist is a testament to the dedication of our members, staff, and partners, and the meaningful impact we continue to make in the lives of individuals and communities.

Over the past year, TISA has delivered on its commitment to creating a more inclusive financial system through key initiatives, including:

  • Driving the Inclusive Investing Initiative, which empowers underrepresented groups to access and benefit from financial products and services.
  • Advocating for financial literacy in schools, leading the call for mandatory financial education across England.
  • Empowering member firms to foster a financially resilient workforce with essential skills delivered through our Money Management training initiative.
  • Engaging industry stakeholders to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in financial services through collaborative research and policy development.

Carol Knight, Chief Executive of TISA, said:

“To be shortlisted for such a prestigious award is an incredible honour. It reflects the hard work and collaboration of everyone involved in TISA’s mission to improve financial wellbeing in the UK. While we may not have won, this recognition fuels our determination to keep pushing for progress and driving meaningful change.

“TISA extends its congratulations to this year’s winner and applauds all the shortlisted organisations for their contributions to shaping their sector.

“For TISA, this moment is a reminder of the importance of collaboration and innovation in tackling the challenges of financial inclusion and education. The organisation remains steadfast in its mission to ensure that everyone, regardless of background, has the tools and opportunities to achieve financial security.”
