SPDR Gold Trust ETF – US78463V1070 – B046RT1
This SPDR Gold Trust is an open-ended type scheme (exchange traded type fund – ETF) registered in the US (see link below) which is obviously outside the EEA. The only way such schemes can qualify for ISA inclusion is if they are recognised by the FCA.
This fund does not appear to have the necessary FCA recognition therefore it will not qualify for stocks & shares ISA inclusion. We have yet to see a US based fund of this nature(ETF) that does qualify for ISA inclusion.
