ISHARES MSCI EASTERN EUR CAP UCITS – B0M6395 – IE00B0M63953

January 10, 2024

If I can try to provide feedback in two segments:

Firstly, for ‘Funds’, I can confirm, if they retain their FCA Authorised Status (for UK Funds) or FCA Recognised Status (for Overseas Funds) they will continue to be ISA qualifying regardless of their “Liquidation Status”.

Secondly, like you, I can’t locate this fund (ETF) on the FCA register so it won’t be ISA qualifying.

The prospectus on link below confirms this fund was in the process of being terminated (dated 2015), so way before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The FCA may (I guess) remove terminated funds after a set period from the FCA register, hence the fact it’s no longer showing (we both can’t find it on the FCA register).

In summary, if the fund was suspended it would still qualify for ISA inclusion, but evidence below suggests this fund was being terminated back in 2015 (so, not ISA qualifying).
