Vulnerable Customers Working Group

Purpose

The Vulnerable Customers Working Group aims to raise awareness amongst financial firms of the needs of vulnerable people, and the regulatory requirements. The group provides a supportive environment to discuss issues concerning vulnerability and develop initiatives to support members in improving their practice.

Areas of focus

  • Development of a self-assessment tool (the Vulnerability Radar) to allow firms an understanding of how they can improve their practice and establish priorities
  • Raise awareness amongst members of issues faced by various categories of vulnerable customers.
