Join us on 14th August for a free 45-minute online Taster session

Money is a deeply personal subject – and yet, it silently shapes so much of our lives. From the decisions we make in the supermarket aisle to whether we sleep well at night, money can be a source of freedom, or of anxiety. That’s why Financial Awareness Day (14th August) is more than just a date on the calendar. It’s a call to action.

At TISA, we’re marking the occasion by offering a free 45-minute online Taster session from our Essentials for Money Management Programme. Whether you’re in HR, L&D, or responsible for CSR and community engagement, this is your invitation to experience how powerful financial education can be—for your employees, your organisation, and the communities you serve.

Why it matters

Financial stress doesn’t stay at home. It walks into work with people every morning. It clouds thinking, drains energy, and can quietly erode performance and wellbeing.

Let’s take Sam, for example. Every month, Sam opens their credit card statement and feels a wave of dread. Despite best intentions, the balance keeps growing. The anxiety is constant. They’re distracted, irritable, and struggling to focus. It’s affecting their work—and their confidence.

Then something shifts. Their employer invites them to a Money Management workshop. It’s not just about budgeting or cutting back—it’s about understanding the psychology behind spending, changing habits, and building a new relationship with money.

Over time, Sam begins to make different choices. They clear the card each month, avoid interest, and finally feel in control. The fog of stress lifts. Sam is more present at work, more positive—and more productive. The ripple effects are powerful.

You can be the catalyst for change

The reality is Sam’s story isn’t rare. One in four UK employees report money worries that impact their ability to do their job. And yet, too few workplaces are equipped to offer meaningful financial wellbeing support.

This is where our Essentials for Money Management programme comes in—offering a holistic, human approach to financial wellbeing. It’s practical, engaging, and rooted in behavioural change.

On 14th August, come and experience it for yourself. You’ll get a flavour of the workshop content, see how it can be tailored for your teams or local communities, and leave with insights you can use immediately.

Whether you’re considering the full programme, our Train the Trainer option, or simply want to offer something meaningful for Financial Awareness Day, this is a perfect place to start.
