This page provides a variety of information and resources in relation to Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs).
ISAs have been the most widely used savings vehicle for savings in the UK since their introduction in April 1999 and are commonly regarded as the most successful Government savings initiative due to their tax-favoured incentives of being free from UK income and capital gains tax. There have been numerous changes to ISA regulations over the years to provide additional flexibility for consumers and further incentivise savings for a first home and for retirement planning.
Within this page, you can access a variety of useful information on ISAs, including TISA’s ISA events and training, up to date news on ISAs, various ISA publications including TISA’s Guide to ISAs and ISA statistics and guidance published by HMRC.
Members of TISA have access to additional information including TISA technical bulletins, consolidated ISA regulations and guidance produced by TISA, a database of ISA qualifying investments and frequently asked questions on a variety of ISA topics.
